Owner reports

Waterdrop's own product reviews for the G3P800 (Trustpilot product reviews, 4.6 from 148) repeatedly mention a noisy booster pump (clicking, pulsing, running after each draw) and a faucet some dislike; brand-level Trustpilot complaints are slow or unresponsive support, wrong or missing parts (two G3P800 owners: missing clamp, wrong faucet sent twice) and shipping delays.

Still sold new on 2026-09-27 (not discontinued); a refurbished G3P800 listing is out of stock. Store price is $999 with no compare-at; the page shows $759 struck against $999 only with checkout code WDG3P800 ('$240 Off', Fall Flash Sale), so the $999 list looks inflated. Only Waterdrop RO in this set with a real PFAS certification (PFOA/PFOS, NSF/ANSI 53). Filter listings (e.g. WD-G3-N3CB) say 'certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI 58', but NSF's own Waterdrop listings show no RO systems; all RO certs are IAPMO R&T. Maker is Qingdao Ecopure Filter Co., Ltd. (IAPMO listee HONGKONG ECOAQUA / QINGDAO ECOPURE). Newer X series (X8 to X16) and G5 series tankless units sit alongside it. No recall found.
