Owner reports
Trustpilot (Pentair, 1.2/5 from 152 reviews, mostly pool equipment) reports hour-long phone holds, unanswered emails and warranty claims refused; these are brand-level, as no product-level reviews were found (Fresh Water Systems shows only 2 five-star reviews for the GRO-575M twin; Home Depot and Reddit were not fetchable).

Arsenic certification (NSF/ANSI 58) covers only pentavalent arsenic up to 50 ppb, with 88% average reduction. The manual says to use it for arsenic only on water with a detectable free chlorine residual, or water shown to hold only pentavalent arsenic. Chloramine does not fully convert trivalent arsenic, so well owners with As(III) need pre-oxidation. It also holds a second listing: IAPMO NSF/ANSI 53 for Total PFAS (7 compounds), stronger than the usual PFOA/PFOS-only claim. The 'bacteria' key is the house mapping for cyst reduction (Cryptosporidium, Giardia by mechanical means), not a disinfection claim. VOCs are claimed on Pentair's comparison table but are not in the current NSF listing. Efficiency is 23.57% (about 3.2 gallons to drain per gallon made). Price: Fresh Water Systems $722.34 (in stock per store JSON). Other prices: aquahomesupply.com $699, foreverpureplace.com $656.67 (special order), and superwater.com $847.22 (sold out; FiltersFast search snippet shows the same $847.22). Pentair's page still shows the GRO-575M monitored twin (SKU 161152), but FWS marks GRO-575M discontinued and points to GRO-575B, and only GRO-575B appears in the NSF listing. No Pentair affiliate program for this line: Pentair sells it only through dealers and retailers, and the old Pentair Water Solutions (Pelican) program on FlexOffers shows as not active (pelicanwater.com refused connections on 2026-09-27).
