VIQUA (a division of Trojan Technologies) sells only through dealers; price is from ESP Water Products, listed on VIQUA's where-to-buy page as a US internet reseller (compare-at $1,100; Aquatell also $880). Cert caveat: NSF lists the VH410-V (and VH410M-V) for NSF/ANSI 55 Class B at 14 gpm, not the plain VH410; the -V needs its flow restrictor and sells for $960 at ESP. Class B is only for supplemental treatment of water already safe to drink, not for contaminated well water; VIQUA's Class A systems are the PRO10/20/30 (per VIQUA FAQ). VIQUA's pathogen claims (Cryptosporidium, Giardia, E. coli, fecal coliform) rest on internal MS2 surrogate testing. Flow ratings at 95% UVT: 34 gpm at 16 mJ/cm2, 18 gpm at 30, 14 gpm at 40. Water limits: hardness under 7 gpg, iron under 0.3 ppm, manganese under 0.05 ppm, tannins under 0.1 ppm, turbidity under 1 NTU, UVT over 75%. A 5-micron sediment filter must precede it; GFCI required; 60 W, 100-240 V; max 125 psi. VIQUA sells the same unit with built-in filters as VH410-F20 ($1,200 at ESP).
