Researched as the current successor to the VIQUA D4: the D4 and D4 Premium pages say both were discontinued as of November 30, 2023 and point to the Arros 9 and Arros 15. Price from ESP Water Products (VIQUA-listed US internet reseller), compare-at $1,340; siblings at ESP: Arros 9 $948, Arros 22 $1,505, Arros 15-IHS10 with sediment filter $1,309. Cert caveat: only the Arros 9-V/15-V/22-V are NSF/ANSI 55 Class B listed; the manual states the standard flow ratings are 'not performance tested or certified by NSF'. Arros 15-V was not found for sale at ESP. Class B is not for contaminated water. VIQUA's pathogen claims (Cryptosporidium, Giardia, E. coli, fecal coliform) come from its own microbial validation testing. Flow ratings at 95% UVT: 29 gpm at 16 mJ/cm2, 15 gpm at 30, 12 gpm at 40. Water limits: hardness under 7 gpg, iron under 0.3 ppm, manganese under 0.05 ppm, tannins under 0.1 ppm, turbidity under 1 NTU, UVT over 75%. GFCI required; product page says 46 W, manual and spec sheet say 50 W; max 125 psi; can be mounted vertically or horizontally, plumbs directly to PEX. A non-VIQUA lamp unit puts the controller in a permanent fault mode with a beep every 60 seconds. No VIQUA affiliate program found. No owner reviews found (ESP shows none; Trustpilot viqua.com has 0).
