On-site (Yotpo) low-star reviews repeat unreachable technical support, installation difficulty, and lamp cost or early lamp failure (one after about two months); several city-water buyers say reps upsold a UV they did not need, and others cite the 10% restocking fee on unused returns.

Dose caveat from the linked 2019 BlackComb manual: the current 4 x 20 in unit matches its SPRW-UV4/5/6-15C crossover model (3.5 x 20 in reactor, SPRW-UV-420HO lamp, SPRW-UV-Q420 sleeve), rated 15 GPM at 30 mJ/cm2 @ 95% UVT but 11 GPM at 40 mJ/cm2 (the NSF 55 Class A dose). The manual's 40 inch SPRW-UV5-15 with the SPRW-UV-999 lamp (12 GPM at 40 mJ/cm2) is the older standard-output model.
